Colostrum

Colostrum
Bovine Colostrum, Colostrum Powder
Colostrum is a unique food supplement, rich in a variety of biologically active proteins including immunoglobins. Colostrum is the pre-milk fluid produced from the mother's mammary glands during the first 24-48 hours after birth. It is the first "milk" given to a newborn calf by its mother, and contains many bioactive compounds not present in ordinary milk. It provides life-supporting immune and growth factors that insures the health and vitality of the newborn. Colostrum is so important that most infants would simply die without it.
Colostrum is high in protein, antibodies and carbohydrates, and low in fat, which human newborns may find difficult to digest. Newborns have very small digestive systems, and colostrum delivers its nutrients in a very concentrated low-volume form. It has a mild laxative effect, encouraging the passing of the baby''s first stool, called meconium. This clears excess bilirubin, a waste product of dead red blood cells, from the infant''s body and helps prevent jaundice. Colostrum contains special glycol proteins and protease inhibitors, which are found extremely effective in protecting colostrum's active components from the destructive forces of the human body''s digestive system.
Colostrum is not only a source of nutrients such as proteins, carbohydrates, fat, vitamins and minerals, but it also contains several biologically-active molecules which are essential to the body''s immune and growth functions. Immune factors in colostrum fight viruses, bacteria, yeast, fungus, allergens and other toxins. Since 1950s colostrum has had a variety of applications, including use as a dietary supplement for children who may need additional support for their immune systems. With the patented technology, colostrum can help an individual to lose weight and burn calories more effectively. According to the researchers, colostrum is helpful to increase stamina and endurance, which can be encouraging for those just starting an exercise routine.
Colostrum Benefits:
Is an optimum balance of hormones, amino acids, vitamins and minerals
Contains powerful immune factors and growth hormones to humans of all ages
Only natural healing substance that was designed by nature for our species
Colostrum contains several biologically-active molecules
Recommended dosage:Take one (1) capsule daily. Colostrum works best if it is taken in capsule form, on an empty stomach with 8-12 ounces of water. If you cannot swallow capsules, you may open the capsule and mix it with a few tablespoons of yogurt, applesauce or other food. Don''t forget the water.
Precaution: Do not take any other supplements with Colostrum and wait at least twenty minutes before you eat. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or allergic to cows milk, consult your health care professional before using this product.
